About laser hair removal

Laser hair removal reduces hair growth and can also stop hair coming back. At least 7 sessions are needed to see a good result depending on skin colour and hair type. A patch test is required and medical consultation. Sun exposure is not recommended and you must use sun factor 50 plus on the laser area if exposed. No sunbeds and sauna or facial treatment before and after laser session. The system we use is ipl laser which is the most common laser used in salons. There are other lasers such as yag laser which is very expensive with slower results. Ipl laser works the quickest as it uses a different wave light which catches the hair follicle. Each session is 3 weeks apart and the gaps become longer apart as the results start to show. On the body hair, growth cycle is longer so the sessions can be 6-8 weeks apart.
